Sports

Badminton: The Harold Hill Badminton Club is a very well respected and successful league club in the area. Meetings are on Friday Evenings, and Sunday mornings throughout the year. The club offers some junior coaching, details are available on request.

Keep Fit: For all ages, meeting on Wednesday evenings, and aiming to achieve fitness through movement, excercise and dance. Registered KFA instructor.

Pool: Summer and Winter league club. Open to men and women, some juniors. Meeting on Monday evenings

Ju-Jitsu: Students are trained by a BJJA GB Senior Coach and the class offered self defence, regular gradings, student of the month certificates, games and an opportunity to make new friends. Classes are open to children and adults, and are designed to build self confidence. No term fees, the first lesson is free. New students welcome any time. Classes all year round.

Over 50s Mobility: Safe exercise in a friendly atmosphere. Meeting Thursday mornings during term time. Registered KFA instructor.

Darts: Summer and Winter league clubs. Ladies meet Wednesday evenings, Men meet Thursday evenings.

Bowls: The Gooshays Short Mat Bowls Club meet on Tuesdays and Saturdays. League and Social bowling. Meetings in Summer and Winter.

Crib & Poker: Meet Tuesday Evenings

Dancing

Modern Sequence and Olde Tyme: Qualified, professional leaders. Knowledge of ballroom dancing is an advantage. Meetings on Monday and Thursday evenings and Wednesday afternoons.

Ballroom: Offering qualified tuition from Bronze beginners up to Gold Cross, Gold Bar and National. Meeting Tuesday and Wednesday Evenings.

Sunday Club: Meeting on the first and third Sunday of each month. Varied social dancing.

Tap and Ballet for Children: Details available on request.

Senior Citizens

Clubs meet on Monday and Thursday afternoons for general activities, outings and talks. For more information on the senior citizens activities please contact The Centre.

Ladies Clubs

Womens' Institute: Meetings on Thursday afternoons. Open to non-members.

Affiliates

Hornchurch War Games Club: Air, land and sea battles in miniature. Most periods covered including sci-fi. Watch or join in! Meetings on Monday evenings. Open to non-members.

Housebound Association: This is run in conjunction with 'Healthy Lifestyles', and aims to bring together housebound residents on the first Saturday afternoon of each month for social activities. Open to non-members.

Labour Parties: Meeting on the 2nd and 3rd Thursday of each month. Open to non-members.

Playdays Playgroup: Offers early-years education to pre-school children in a safe environment. Meets every weekday morning during term time. Open to non-members.
